ChestNut is very proud to have obtained the label of Innov'Alliance - The cluster of Naturalness, Food, Cosmetics, Flavors and Fragrances for its project LEON.
Ce projet a pour objectif de développer un procédé unique permettant la production d'un ingrédient à destination de l'industrie cosmétique. Les rameaux, co-produits de l'arboriculture utilisés comme matière première, proviennent d'une variété spécifique du Prunus persica cultivée dans La Drôme Le Département en Région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
La valorisation des résidus d'extraction et l'impact environnemental du procédé seront les deux paramètres clés de ce projet.
The aim of this project is to develop a unique process for manufacturing an ingredient for the cosmetics industry. The stems, co-products of arboriculture used as raw material, come from a specific variety of Prunus persica grown in Provence.
The recovery of extraction residues and the environmental impact of the process will be the two key parameters of this project.
